KARAKTERISTIK PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS YANG MENGIKUTI PROGRAM SKRINING RETINOPATI DIABETIK BERBASIS KOMUNITAS DI KOTA BANDUNG OLEH RUMAH SAKIT MATA CICENDO PADA TAHUN 2022

Pendahuluan: Retinopati diabetik merupakan komplikasi mikrovaskular yang diakibatkan oleh penyakit diabetes mellitus kronis. Retinopati diabetik memerlukan skrining sebagai deteksi dini untuk mengontrol keparahannya.
Metode: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien retinopati diabetik yang terjaring skrining oleh Rumah Sakit Mata Cicendo pada tahun 2022 serta kelompok yang rentan yang mengalami retinopati diabetik. Karakteristik pasien dikategorikan menjadi karakteristik demografi, klinis, dan status oftalmologis. Desain penelitian ini berupa studi deskriptif potong lintang menggunakan data kuesioner skrinining pasien yang dilakukan pada tahun 2022.
Hasil: Rumah sakit mata cicendo berhasil melakukan skrining terhadap 435 pasien. Data yang terkumpul menunjukkan pasien yang mengikuti skrining mayoritas perempuan (71,49%), berusia 60-79 tahun (64,6%), memiliki riwayat hipertensi (66,44%), dan memiliki durasi diabetes 5-10 tahun (42,99%). Prevalensi DR dan VTDR dari pasien diabetes mellitus yang mengikuti skrining adalah 20,23% dan 3,68%. Mayoritas pasien berjenis kelamin perempuan (21,54%), kelompok umur 40-59 tahun (23,36%), memiliki riwayat hipertensi (20,76%), memiliki riwayat dislipidemia (22,22%) dan durasi diabetes 5-10 tahun (25,13%) mengalami retinopati diabetik.
Kesimpulan: Retinopati diabetik rentan terjadi pada orang dengan jenis kelamin perempuan, umur 40-59 tahun, riwayat hipertensi, riwayat dislipidemia, dan durasi diabetes 5-10 tahun.
